A small follow-up to 0.17.2 with the fixes from the day's review of the new Learning surfaces.
Explainers are tooltips now. The ? next to a score, a rule state or a Tutor notice opens on hover (tap on a phone) and paints with the Tooltip style from your theme, so it is readable in dark mode and restyles with everything else. The same goes for the small hints on the Designer controls and the social view count.
The check-up card explainer sits on its header, like the practice-accuracy card next to it.
Italian B2, adjective position and meaning. Two check-up items now test the contrast the topic teaches ("un vecchio amico" vs "un amico vecchio", "un grande uomo" vs "un uomo grande") instead of only the shortened forms.
The Tutor hints at what decides a one-word answer. When an item asks for a single article, pronoun or verb form, the Tutor now names the word class and the features of the sentence that decide it, instead of getting stuck because any example would give the word away. A hint that still slipped is rewritten with the rejected draft in view.
Check-up items reviewed in four languages. A per-level review of the English, French, Italian and Turkish check-up pools added answers a careful learner would write ("to keep quiet", "Ciò che conta", "bensì", "kendisini"), replaced three wrong-answer options that were in fact correct sentences, and repaired two prompts.
Course text repairs. In one Italian B1 course, a matching pair no longer defines one term through another term of the same set, an archaic verb form was modernised and a transformation key now matches its shown option.
