Reading the first fully glossed course on production showed four small things worth fixing the same day.
Hints read the story. A word the passage uses differently from its plain meaning, inside a quoted name, a title or a slogan, with irony, as a metaphor or a pun, gets both: the plain meaning first, then what the passage does with the word and why. The diner sign „Gussys herrlichen Fraß“ started this: Fraß is coarse, bad food, and in the sign it is the diner's own self-mocking name, the way an English diner says grub. New passages get this at once; existing passages keep their hints until their next rebuild.
The Tutor beside the text. The raised-hand button sits just outside the top right of the module area, next to the passage, and stays in view while you scroll a long text, instead of waiting in the far corner of the window.
Two dropdowns in the Tutor. One picks the module, the other the question inside it; options are short, and the full text opens as a tooltip beside the panel. A reading is offered by paragraph, not by sentence. Translation, Transformation and True/False items now show their own sentence in the list instead of the module's instruction.
A Tutor example is an example. "Show an example" returns one sentence in the language you learn plus, underneath, what the sentence shows and why it follows the rule. Before, the panel could show a sentence announcing an example, the example twice, or an example that used the very form the exercise corrects. The Tutor now refuses those drafts and asks the model again.
A check you can answer. "Check my understanding" asks one question in both languages with two to four answer choices. Pick one and the panel tells you whether it was right. Nothing is scored or sent; it is your own check.
The whole conversation, once each. Every message of a thread stays on screen in order, a question the Tutor could not answer says so under it, and "Try again" repeats that question instead of adding a copy. The note that help is part of learning appears once per conversation, not under every answer.
A second question no longer fails. When the Tutor drafted its answer in the language of your question instead of the thread's explanation language, the app rejected the draft and you saw an error. It now asks the model once more with the language named.
Word-form chips tell the truth. A label term the app's own checks refuted (an adjective called strong after ein) is dropped from the chip instead of shown; the checks also catch a claim that a separable prefix was dropped or split when the sentence shows otherwise, and a word-order claim the sentence refutes. Existing entries are refolded the same way.
Every row shows its sentence. Dictionary and saved-word rows print their own sentence with the word underlined; the "Same sentence as above" shortcut is gone.
The reading uses its full width. A hidden width cap on the passage is gone; the width now follows the designer setting.

One hint for das Lenkrad. An article standing directly before its noun is now one underlined span with one hint. A pair that other words split (ein anderer Student, or a separable verb such as tauchte ... auf) keeps a hint on each part, because there the parts are what shows they belong together.
Every article joins its noun. Passages sometimes glossed the noun alone and left ein, kein or the article before an adjective as a separate fixed gloss. Those articles now attach to their noun, in new passages and in existing ones.
der after a comma. In "ein Student, der nach Luft rang" the der is the relative pronoun, and its hint now says so instead of describing the definite article.
Fixed glosses name the right word. A fixed gloss shared by several words (nach, von, bei) now carries each word's own dictionary form, so saving nach no longer files it under mit.
The dictionary on a key. Press d anywhere in a course session to open the course dictionary, Escape to close it. Long dictionaries render their first rows at once and the rest right after, so opening one no longer stalls.
