The story-aware hint rule from 0.17.7 was only reaching passages built after it shipped. This release brings every existing passage under it, course by course, with the text itself left exactly as reviewed.
Existing passages carry the story-aware hints. A word hint gives the plain meaning first and, when the story uses the word in a special way, a second half that says so: "Gussys herrlichen Fraß" on a diner's neon sign is the sign's own self-mocking praise, a "Band" of road is a metaphor for a narrow, deteriorating track. The refresh asks only for the explanations, one course at a time, keeps every id and every word of the text, and never gives up a hint a passage already carried.
Punctuation sits on its word. Some passages stored the space inside the word, so the reader showed "Willkommen zurück , Leo !". Closing marks now sit directly on the word they follow, in every passage, old and new.
Italian and French governors named by their dictionary form. A word-form explanation that says "the direct object of the verb avere" while the sentence has "ha" was dropped as unproven. The check now knows the irregular forms of the common verbs, so those explanations stay.
