Better printed books, readers that fit a phone, ten crossings between the house stories

Everything here comes from reading the real thing. The print changes were made against rendered pages of the picture book and the Full comic, and the reader changes against phone screenshots in both orientations.
A page picker in the comic reader. The "Page 6 of 8" counter is now the control: press it and the whole chapter's pages open as a grid over the art, so a fifty-page chapter is one press away from any page. The list that used to sit below the picture is gone, which gives the art its height back on a phone.
Picture books fullscreen on a phone. Fullscreen is one compact row of icons now instead of three rows of buttons, and the page turns by tapping the left or right edge of the picture. Portrait fills the width, landscape fills the height, and the things-to-find list keeps to the picture instead of floating past it.
Things to find, printed on the art. In a printed picture book the things-to-find words now sit in framed labels on a small plate over the illustration, with an embossed two-tone border. The strip that used to be reserved for them is gone, so every page is art edge to edge.
Wide landscape. Picture books print at a 16:9 landscape trim by default, which is the shape the pages are drawn in.
The behind-the-scenes section, part by part. The making-of pages can be cut to what you want: the opener, the style anchor, the character spreads, the location spreads, the page prompt and the closing advice each have their own switch. The opener no longer prints a credits figure, and the empty pages between sections carry only the running title instead of Notes and Sketches invitations.
FOGRA52. The colour profile is now a choice in the export options, FOGRA52 included, rather than something the build picked for you.
Sample print files for the comics. The order form's Short, Full and Screen comic cards each carry a real print export you can download, built with different settings so you can see what the options do.
Two samples of the picture book. The order form now offers the same book twice: the full version with the dedication, the things to find and the making-of pages, and a minimal one that is just the pictures and their lines. Download both and compare.
Behind the scenes on an order. A Comic or Picture book order can include the behind-the-scenes section for 1 EUR.
Build a course part by part. The create wizard replaces the two quality dials with a model choice per part, lite or the stronger flash model, with tiered reading on flash by default because that is where nuance shows. A private course can leave parts out; a public course carries every part. Visibility is chosen at creation, and a private story keeps its courses private.
Courses explain in the story's own language. A course built from an English chapter explains in English. The wizard now says so instead of offering an explanation language the chapter cannot support, and the three house courses were rebuilt.
Ten crossings between the house stories. Ten of the house stories now cross into another one: a short crossover you can read from either side, listed on both stories.
The tutor answers questions about the reading. Asking what a place or a word in a Tiered Reading passage means now gets an explanation. The tutor withholds an answer only where the module has one to grade, and a check that fails on the tutor's side no longer surfaces as an error.
Scored reading starts its music on Read now. The opening beat's music used to wait for the first Continue. It now begins with the press that opens the reader, and a resumed session picks up the music of the beat it resumes at.
Comic scripts get an editor pass. After the pages are planned, a review pass reads the whole chapter for repeated lines and repeated beats across pages, trims captions to a budget, and marks inner monologue as thought bubbles (drawn with a dashed cloud) next to speech, captions and sound effects. Two more passes read the cast and the location sheets right after they are extracted, before any sheet is drawn, and fill the gaps a later page would trip over.
Saved words in one place on the learning profile. "Review due words" and "Review saved words" cover every language you learn, so they now sit above the language selector as one entry point with a note on their scope, instead of inside a profile that is otherwise filtered to one language.
A Grammar badge on the story's course list. A story that carries both a story course and a grammar course shows which is which on its learning overview.
Choice images past the first chapter. The choice-image story now carries an illustration for the chapter and each of its two choices, twenty chapters deep.
