Type your answer when a flash card comes up for review
October 2026
A fix for flash cards that come up in the Learning review.
The card is readable again. On a wide screen the picture pushed the question into a thin strip on the right. It now sits above the question, and on a phone the picture is smaller so the answer buttons have room.
You type the word, the same as for saved words. The answer is checked with the flash-card test's rules, including one more try when you name a close relative of the word. Rating yourself with Again, Hard or Good is gone from the review.
Show answer counts as a miss, so the card comes back sooner. It appears after five seconds or once you start typing. The flash-card test offers it too.
Skip leaves a card for later without changing its schedule.
